SPATIAVERA

Trust & Validation

Know what was checked, what remains uncertain, and what is approved for use.

SPATIAVERA combines scientific validation, Scientific Quality checks, traceable evidence and controlled professional release so clients can distinguish between an analytical result, a provisional result and an approved deliverable.

How trust is built

Validation against recognised references

Where a recognised external or reference implementation is available, SPATIAVERA compares results and records agreement evidence rather than relying on an algorithm name alone.

Evidence basis: Validation framework, reference-software evidence and comparison metrics.

Scientific Quality for selected services

Selected analytical services are checked for numerical stability, robustness, scientific consistency, performance, regression behaviour and acceptance evidence.

Evidence basis: Scientific Quality service evidence and portfolio-level quality state.

Traceable project evidence

Commercial intake, configuration, analysis state, validation evidence, report outputs and release decisions are linked through project records and integrity checks.

Evidence basis: Commercial configuration, orchestration evidence, manifests and SHA-256 integrity records.

Disclosures are preserved, not hidden

A project may be professionally deliverable while still carrying provisional, partial-validation or professional-review disclosures. Those disclosures remain visible in the dossier and client delivery.

Evidence basis: Delivery Release Gate disclosure checks and consulting dossier integration.

Controlled professional release

Completed analysis is not automatically equivalent to client-ready delivery. The Delivery Release Gate checks required evidence and blocks release when critical requirements are missing.

Evidence basis: Sprint 043 Delivery Release Gate.

What release status means

Ready

Required commercial release checks are satisfied and the project is approved for client delivery.

Client action: Use the approved client package and review the professional dossier for project-specific scope.

Ready with disclosures

The project is approved for client delivery, with explicit limitations or review conditions that must remain attached to the result.

Client action: Read the disclosures before using the result for a decision and preserve them when sharing the deliverable.

Blocked

One or more required release controls are not satisfied, so the project is not approved for client delivery.

Client action: Do not treat the analytical output as an approved client deliverable until the blocking issue is resolved.

Confidence without overclaiming

Confidence is communicated through evidence, validation state, quality status, disclosures and professional review—not through an unsupported single percentage.

SPATIAVERA does not describe provisional or partially externally validated results as final independent certification.

External-software validation is performed where an applicable recognised reference implementation and reproducible workflow are available; the website does not claim that every service is validated against every GIS package.
